    At the closing bell on the Stock Exchange, here is how the major indices ended the session on the U.S. Markets:

    DOW (Dow Jones Industrial Average) gain of 9.36 points on the day to end the session at 12,694.28

    NYSE (New York Stock Exchange) loss of 9.91 points to end the session at 9,292.89

    NASDAQ gain of 8.79 points for a close at 2,353.78

    S&P 500 loss of 1.27 points for a close at 1,380.02

    RUSSELL 2000 loss of 0.88 points to close at 716.44

    FTSE All-World ex-U.S. gain of 1.12 points to close at 249.07

    FTSE RAFI 1000 loss of 11.77 points to close at 5,672.03

    BEL 20 loss of 7.33 points to close at 3,787.53

    CAC 40 loss of 4.25 points to close at 4,968.82

    FTSE100 loss of 10.9 points to close at 6,076.50

    NIKKEI 225 gain of 206.6 points to close at 14,031.30

    On the NYSE today, advancers came in at 1,359, decliners totaled 1,776; unchanged came in at 95; new highs came in at 55 and new lows came in at 30. Momentum NYSE stocks traded by active Day Traders today: Monsanto Corporation (MON) shed 1.49 points with a high on the day of $123.00, a low of $117.74 for a closing price at $119.27; Rio Tinto plc (RTP) gained 3.96 points with a high on the day of $467.70, a low of $454.84 for a closing price at $461.96; Herbalife Limited (HLF) gained 0.20 points with a high on the day of $45.00, a low of $43.00 for a closing price at $43.00; Carters Incorporated (CRI) shed 5.33 points with a high on the day of $18.30, a low of $16.69 for a closing price at $16.88; Terra Industries Incorporated (TRA) shed 2.92 points with a high on the day of $49.94, a low of $46.68 for a closing price at $47.46; URS Corporation (URS) shed 8.88 points with a high on the day of $43.62, a low of $37.85 for a closing price at $40.60; Goldman Sachs Group Incorporated (GS) gained 8.10 points with a high on the day of $181.28, a low of $171.51 for a closing price at $180.80; Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Incorporated (FCX) gained 3.30 points with a high on the day of $105.00, a low of $99.50 for a closing price at $103.62; Carters Incorporated (CRI) shed 5.33 points with a high on the day of $18.30, a low of $16.69 for a closing price at $16.88; Fannie Mae (FNM) gained 0.30 points with a high on the day of $31.58, a low of $25.32 for a closing price at $27.27; CR Bard Incorporated (BCR) shed 2.75 points with a high on the day of $98.37, a low of $95.18 for a closing price at $95.48; AECOM Technology Corporation (ACM) shed 2.76 points with a high on the day of $29.54, a low of $26.05 for a closing price at $27.07; Elan Corp. plc (ELN) shed 1.54 points with a high on the day of $25.00, a low of $21.78 for a closing price at $22.77; Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR) gained 3.26 points with a high on the day of $125.48, a low of $121.09 for a closing price at $125.01; Suntech Power Holdings Corporation Limited (STP) shed 1.46 points with a high on the day of $40.74, a low of $39.22 for a closing price at $39.22; Transocean, Incorporated (RIG) shed 2.07 points with a high on the day of $144.97, a low of $141.35 for a closing price at $141.69.

    On the NASDAQ today, advanced totaled 1,384; decliners totaled 1,538; unchanged came in at 142; new highs came in at 31 and new lows came in at 63. Momentum NASDAQ stocks traded by active Day Traders today: Research In Motion Limited (RIMM) gained 6.75 points with a high on the day of $112.19, a low of $106.51 for a closing price at $111.50; Autodesk, Incorporated (ADSK) shed 6.11 points with a high on the day of $34.43, a low of $32.36 for a closing price at $32.99; Costco Wholesale Corporation (COST) shed 1.97 points with a high on the day of $65.00, a low of $62.91 for a closing price at $64.49; EnerNOC, Incorporated (ENOC) shed 9.19 points with a high on the day of $23.84, a low of $16.12 for a closing price at $16.31; Foster Wheeler, Limited (FWLT) shed 2.21 points with a high on the day of $66.70, a low of $63.25 for a closing price at $65.05; Google Incorporated (GOOG) gained 8.67 points with a high on the day of $475.49, a low of $459.64 for a closing price at $472.86; Apple Incorporated (AAPL) gained 3.81 points with a high on the day of $123.05, a low of $118.09 for a closing price at $122.96; First Solar, Incorporated (FSLR) shed 3.00 points with a high on the day of $225.30, a low of $215.76 for a closing price at $217.69; Baidu.com, Incorporated (BIDU) gained 21.05 points with a high on the day of $260.39, a low of $237.51 for a closing price at $258.85.

    Department Of Energy: U.S. Crude Oil Stockpiles rose 3.2 Million Barrels in the week compared to expectations of an increase by 2.4 Million Barrels; U.S. Gasoline Stockpiles rose 2.3 Million Barrels in the week compared to expectations of an increase by 400,000 Million Barrels; U.S. Refineries ran at 84.7% compared to expectations of an increase by 0.1 Pts at 83.6%; U.S. Crude Oil Stockpiles rose 3.2 Million Barrels compared to expectations of an increase by 308.5 Million Barrels; U.S. Distillate Stockpiles fell 2.5 Million Barrels in the week compared to expectations of a drop by 1.8 Million Barrels.

    U.S. January Durable Goods Orders fell 5.3% compared to consensus fell 4.0%; January Durable Goods Orders, Excluding-Transportation fell 1.6%; January Durable Goods Orders, Excluding-Defense fell 4.7%; December Durable Goods Orders revised to an increase by 4.4% from an increase by 5.0%.

    U.S. January New Home Sales fell 2.8% to 588,000 compared to consensus of 600,000 and U.S. December New Home Sales revised to 605,000 from 604,000.

    Commodities Markets
    The trend was lower across the board today for the Energy Sector: Light crude moved lower today by $1.25 to close at $99.64 a barrel; Heating Oil moved lower today by $0.04 to close at $2.75 a gallon; Natural Gas moved lower today by $0.19 to close at $9.06 per million BTU and Unleaded Gas moved lower today by $0.07 to close at $2.48 a gallon.

    Metals Markets ended the session higher across the board today: Gold moved higher today by $12.10 to close at $961.00 a Troy ounce; Silver moved higher today by $0.48 to close at $0.48 per Troy ounce; Platinum moved lower today by $3.90 to close at $2,152.00 per Troy ounce and Copper closed higher by $0.06 to close at $3.85 per pound.

    On the Livestock and Meat Markets, the trend was mixed across the board today: Lean Hogs ended the day higher by $0.23 to close at $60.98; Pork Bellies ended the day lower by $1.80 to close at $92.50; Live Cattle ended the day lower by $0.95 to close at $94.55 and Feeder Cattle ended the day higher by $0.50 at $108.20.

    Other Commodities: Corn ended the day lower by $6.00 at $538.00 and Soybeans lower today by $9.00 to end the session at $1,475.25.

    Bonds were mixed across the board today: 2 year bond closed at 100 7/32; 5 year bond moved lower by 3/32 to close at 99 28/32 today; 10 year bond moved lower by 2/32 to close at 97 and the 30 year bond moved higher by 3/32 to close at 95 17/32 on the day.

    The e-mini Dow ended the session today at 12,692 with a loss of 7 points on the trading session. The total Dow Exchange Volume for the day came in at 201,623 which are comprised of Electronic, Open Auction and Cash Exchange.     The end of day results for the CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade) which is comprised of the total Exchange Volume for Futures and Options (EVFO) including Electronic, Open Auction and Cash Exchange ended the day at 7,323,283; Open Interest for Futures moved higher by 38,404 points to close at 10,734,505; the Open Interest for Options moved higher by 103,668 points to close at 6,761,166 and the Cleared Only closed with no change to close at 27,756 for a total Open Interest on the day of 17,523,637 for a total Change on the day with a gain of 142,072 points.
