French economy saw first signals of recovery. The French Industrial Production inclined by 0.3% in June. However, GDP in the whole Euro-Zone dropped by 0.6% in June. The main loser appeared to be Great Britain with worase than expected result.

The German Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rose by 0.3% in the 2nd quarter, showing that the German economy unexpectedly rose out of recession. On the downside for the EUR last week was that the European Consumer Price Index dropped by 0.7% in July, showing that inflation is still reducing in the 16 nation Euro-Zone giving reasons for further EUR rise in FOREX.
