    Today's Futures Analysis summary

The strong U.S. Dollar pressured equities and commodity prices all day. The Dollar gained strength overnight after Russia said it had no problem with the Dollar being the world’s currency.

Additional support for the Dollar came from news that the G-8 Finance Ministers were discussing an exit strategy from the current stimulus plans.

Metals prices were especially weak as traders are now downplaying the anticipation of inflation over the short-run.

Crude oil bought as a hedge against inflation also broke as the Dollar gained strength throughout the day.

The Grain Complex was weak. Anticipation of lower demand and better weather put pressure on the soybeans and corn all day.

Equity markets were down from the start and there was clear evidence that money was flowing into the Treasuries.
