    Holiday Sales

    Holiday sales were less than retailers were expecting this December. (Read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

    Economic data released today:

    Initial Jobless Claims:
    U.S. Jobless Claims rose 18K to 409K in Week of January 1; Compared to Survey of an increase by 22K; U.S. Week of December 25 Jobless Claims Revised to 391K from 388K.

    Continuing Jobless Claims:
    U.S. Week of December 25 Continuing Claims fell 47K to 4,103,000.
